About our Classes:
-
Classical ballet is a traditional dance form known for its precision, grace, and technique. Today, it remains the foundation of many modern dance styles and continues to be performed worldwide, blending timeless artistry with contemporary interpretations.
-
Commercial dance combines styles like hip-hop, jazz, and street dance, designed for performances in music videos, concerts, and pop culture events. It’s energetic, versatile, and made to grab attention.
-
Lyrical dance fuses ballet, modern, and improvisation techniques to express emotion and storytelling. It emphasises freedom of movement, creativity, and connection between the body and mind. We dance this on socks or barefoot.
-
Heels dance is a confident, expressive style performed in high heels, blending elements of jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary. It focuses on musicality, sensuality, and empowerment through strong, fluid movement. We have Beginner Level Monday evenings 8-9pm (0 Experience required) a great place to start with no pressure, Intermediate & Advanced levels on Thursday evenings (Great for those who have danced a bit more in heels).
-
In Acro Heels, we work on Heels Technique but more specifically the floor work, acrobatic and trick aspect.
We have big gymnastic mats to learn the tricks on, so you won’t go bruising or hurting yourself!
-
Belly dancing, often called Raqs Sharqi (Arabic for “dance of the East”), is a traditional dance style that originated in the Middle East and North Africa. It’s known for its expressive, fluid movements of the hips, torso, and arms.
